2024 Bali to Tokyo- Travel day(s)

 We flew from Spokane to Seattle Wednesday night at 7pm. Went to baggage claim, got luggage and checked back into another airline to head to Bali. Eva Air! Only one place to get food in the entire Seattle airport at 10pm...Qdoba. Well, McDonalds was open too but I don't count that as food. Fueled up, we headed for our gate and waited for our flight to board...1am!

The plane boarding was VERY efficient! The asian lady in charge of directing people took her job very seriously. It was a HUGE plane and it boarded more efficiently than a southwest flight. The flight was over 13 hours long but overnight, so we didn't notice the time go by quite as bad as a day flight. l am sold on redeyes! Wierdly enough, the first meal was served at what should have been around 3am. I ate, not sure when I'd be fed next. I slept on and off for the next several hours. I did watch one movie, The Hill. It was super good! What a triumph of the human spirit. When we can truly believe in our purpose and the true nature of our blessings being divinely inspired, we can accomplish anything!!!"

Sleep, movie, sleep, eat, sleep, sleep. 

Once we land in Taipei, we deboard and find our way to our gate. Once we've established ourselves and know where we are going, we head back to the area that contains the "Oriental Lounge Club". Since we have quite a few hours to wait until our next flight, we opt for the additional charge to hang out in the lounge, enjoy the buffet and wait for the sun to come up. Did I mention that it was just after 5am on Friday when we arrive? We skipped Thursday altogether!!! Time warp, right? Makes my brain hurt thinking about it. The food has been good and it's been nice to stretch out feet since we still have another 6 hour flight ahead of us at 10am Taipei time.
